-
Getting Started
Getting started with Friday takes three main actions. Create a project, post an update, and send its private client link. Your client can read every update on one page without creating an account. They can also reply below an update, so the reply stays with the item it concerns.
-
Creating a Project
Creating a Friday project gives one client a private page for updates, attachments, and replies. A project needs a name and one client email address. Check both carefully before saving because the current interface does not provide project editing or deletion controls.
-
Writing an Update
Writing a client update in Friday means preparing clear plain text, optionally adding one file, and selecting Post update. The posted item appears on the private client page, and an email notice is queued for the client address saved with the project.
-
The Client Page
The Friday client page is a private project page that opens from a unique link. It shows the project owner, project name, posted updates, update attachments, and replies submitted on the page. A client does not need an account or password to use it.
-
Client Replies and Comments
Client replies and comments let a client respond beneath a specific posted update. The reply becomes part of the project page, so anyone with the current private link can read it. The owner also gets a queued email notice with a link back to the relevant update.
-
Attachments
Update attachments let you keep a supporting file beside an update or a client reply. Use them for material that helps the reader understand or review the update, such as a PDF proof or an image. The written update should still explain the result, request, or change. A file with no explanation makes the client guess why it was sent.
-
Email Delivery
Client update email delivery starts after the project record is created. Posting an update queues an email copy for the client email saved on that project. The project page is the lasting record, while email tells the client about the new update and gives them the client link.
-
Managing Projects
You can manage client update projects through a private page for each client and an ordered history of updates and replies. Your signed in view includes the client email, posting form, delivery status, reply history, attachment links, client link controls, and weekly nudge setting.
-
Weekly Nudges
Weekly nudges remind the account owner when an enabled project has gone at least seven days without an update. They are owner reminders, not client messages. A nudge contains a link back to the update form for each due project.
-
Account Settings
Account settings are deliberately limited. You can log in, log out, reset a forgotten password, export account data, and choose a light or dark theme. There is no general account settings screen.
-
Password Reset
Use the password reset page when you cannot remember your password or need to replace it. The reset process sends a private, temporary link to the email address on your account. You do not need to know your old password.
-
Exporting Your Data
The account export gives you a plain text copy of the project records that belong to your account. Use it when you want an offline reference, need to search your written history, or plan to keep a separate record outside Friday.
-
Privacy and Security
Friday privacy and security begin with separate owner accounts and private client links. Owners sign in to manage projects. Clients use a private project link to read updates, download attachments, and reply without creating an account.
-
Pricing and Billing
Friday pricing and billing describe an owner-set offer of $49 USD month to month. The offer includes unlimited projects and clients with no seat charges, lets you cancel anytime, and has no annual commitment. Billing is currently off, so the offer describes the intended paid plan rather than a subscription you can buy now.

Getting Help
Use the Friday support email link in the site footer when a guide and a careful retry do not solve your problem. The footer provides the current public contact.
-
Troubleshooting
Start Friday troubleshooting by protecting work that has not been posted. Copy an update or reply into a private text editor before you reload, go back, or sign in again. If a submission had an uncertain result, check the project record before you retry so that you do not create a duplicate.
